2 Slices Pumpernickel Bread
¼ cup chile pepper cream cheese
1 lettuce leaf
4 slices of Applegate Farms Chipotle Chicken or
Oven Roasted Chicken Breast
Chile pepper cream cheese: You can flavor cream cheese with any spice or a handful of chopped fresh herb. Put 1/2 cup cream cheese into a small bow. Add 3 to 4 pinches ground chiles powder and salt to taste and stir well. This spread will keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Makes 1/2 cup.
Chipotle chiles are dried smoked jalapeño peppers with a medium heat. Spread one side of 2 slices of pumpernickel bread with ¼ cup chile pepper cream cheese. Put 1 lettuce leaf on 1 of the slices of bread and arrange 4 slices of Applegate Farms Chipotle Chicken or Oven Roasted Chicken Breast on top. Season to taste with salt. Cover with the other slice of bread, cream cheese side down. Pack some spicy chips to go with your sandwich, if you like.
