The ABSOLUTE best! May 8, 2012
Reviewer: Emily E.
We are obsessed with the sausages! I can't keep them on hand in my house because we're all crazy about them. I actually was just coming on this site to see if I could buy a case of them. :) The flavor is more delicious than little sizzlers and even more wonderful because they're better for you. Keep up the great work Applegate!!

Chill Out People May 5, 2012

Just because a product contains sugar doesn't make it bad. I know sugar is loaded in many foods but meat requires it to lessen the salty flavor. If you really want sugar free salt free celery free so called "deadly soybean oil" free go live in the wild and eat raw meat and stop complaining, the products you make are Delicious!Keep up the good work

Five Stars November 4, 2011
Reviewer: Connie V.
I do not eat sausage but maybe one every few years. When I needed a sausage for a recipe, it had to be gluten free and casein free. I also wanted it to be low fat and low sodium. But of course I wanted it to be an ingredient worth including in my recipe. I really didn't think I was going to find anything to meet my standards. I tried Applegate Natural Chicken and Sage Breakfast Sausage, and I was so pleasantly surprised! Not greasy, not chewy, met my dietary requirements, and didn't leave an aftertaste like some sausages will do. Delicious! I will be sure to use Applegate when my recipes when needed. I'll be sure to recommend them on my gluten-free website as well. Thanks Applegate for providing me with another safe go-to product.

Wonderful! November 2, 2011
Reviewer: Kelli K.
Our family loves these! We following the Feingold diet and finding acceptable meats, especially sausage, can be difficult. While not entirely sure these are stage1 or stage2 for FG, we seem to have no reactions. Thank you for a great product!

Thanks for the review Margie! Don’t forget you can ask your local store manager to carry any Applegate product you like! You have a better chance at getting it stocked than we do! Good luck!

Chicken and sage sausage ROCKS July 12, 2011
Reviewer: Elyse H.
I tried the chicken and sage sausage this weekend and fell in love. Due to dietary restrictions and anaphylactic food allergies, I can not have regular, store brand sausage.
This product totally rocks my world and is good for you. I mean, no carbs or sugar, and 7 grams of protein per serving. Great for a morning start.
Thank you, AppleGate for making me a happy customer.

Love them May 18, 2011

I am so glad you reduced the sugar in this sausage. I am not a sweet eater and so many products have added sweetener of some kind. Again, thanks for changing the recipe!

Great Tasting, Real Meat May 8, 2011
Reviewer: Kathryn W.
My husband and I brought this on a whim. I'm so glad we did. This is such good sausage. Sometimes sausage is either too greasy or has too much of an herb taste. This is a perfect blend of meat and spice. It almost tastes like maple without being too sweet which can be a concern with breakfast sausage.

Best. Sausage. Ever. April 17, 2011
Reviewer: Preston E.
Hands down, these chicken and sage breakfast sausages are the best "healthy" breakfast sausages that I have ever had. Admittedly, the spongy texture was a bit unusual at first, but I have definitely come to like it. Great job Applegate!

Wonderfully Yummy and Healthy March 30, 2011
Reviewer: Sara B.
"a snap to fix in the microwave or on the stove" is in your intro for this product, but I cook them in the toaster oven around 375-400. I think the texture is great that way, so passing it along in case folks want to try that. The flavor of these is FANTASTIC, by the way. Thank you thank you thank you!

Best. Sausage. Ever. March 26, 2011
Reviewer: Kelly C.
I just finished my first box of Chicken and Sage Breakfast Sausage and will now add these to my regular shopping list! They are so savory, flavorful and convenient to make. As for the "texture issue" which others have mentioned, I just brown them in a dry pan over medium heat, turning often, and they crisp up very nicely without burning.

LOVED these! March 13, 2011
Reviewer: Gail H.
I tried these for the first time today - without telling my husband they were chicken rather than pork. We both loved the great sage-yness. Personally, I can’t imagine these tasting better with more sweetness. It’s breakfast sausage, not candy. You have a new fan; I’ll definitely buy these again!

I dream of these February 28, 2011

Everyone in my house loves these. My 2 small kids can eat a whole box themselves and it is not easy finding things they love. I personally have a hard time not steeling them off there plates.

Hit the Spot! February 22, 2011
Reviewer: Applegate *.
Dear Nikki- Great to hear you like these Applegate Breakfast Sausages so much! Please know we only ship fresh products direct, as there’s temperature food safety issues with frozen products especially in the warmer states during the warmer months, but I will surely add your suggestion to our database! Also, try our store locator to find a store near you: http://goo.gl/Ceozt! Thanks!

I think these are awesome!!! I use them in my stuffing recipe at thanksgiving and even my four year old neice loved it! The only bad thing about them is trying to locate them. I don't know why you can't order them online.

Applegate, don't listen to all those negative reviews on changing the recipe back. It's GREAT! I stopped buying them because of the canola or soybean oil you fried them in. BAKE, don't FRY.

Now Baked, Not Fried January 12, 2011
Reviewer: Applegate Farms *.
Hello William. Please know we wanted to make a better product for you, so we now bake the Applegate Chicken and Sage Breakfast Sausage instead of frying them, thus we no longer use oil. But besides that they are the same ingredients and formula. So maybe you can throw a little bit of oil in a pan when you’re cooking them up to make them taste how you remember. Hope this helps!

Good...But They WERE Great January 11, 2011
Reviewer: William A.
So I'm glad I'm not the only one to be very, very bummed out about the recipe change. I noticed immediately when it happened...but it just occured to me to check out your site to see if any mention was made of why. And yeah...by the way...WHY? I still buy these from time to time...but they do pale in omparision to the amazing, sagey sausage that I had basically become addicted to. Sigh. I guess there must be a reason...and I'd love to know what it is. OK...rant over.

These are fabulous! December 30, 2010
Reviewer: Dale J.
I eat these every morning! I found that if I microwave them oh high they come out rubbery like the other reviews said, but if I mic them on 50% they have a wonderful texture! I don't eat the maple version because it is too sweet, but this one is perfect!
