The secret to this bacon is not secret: follow the cooking directions on the package. Cooked slow and low on the stovetop, it tastes very much like "real" bacon. My daughters always ask for the "turkey bacon" over the real. After making egg sandwiches with this bacon a daily breakfast staple during my 40+ pound weight loss, I must admit I'm hooked. Wegmans sometimes carries it by me - but not always, so I just ordered it direct from Applegate Farms. I can't imagine starting my day without it.

This is delicious fake bacon. We cook it on the BBQ grill outdoors, on low fire. Oil the grill lightly, let the grill heat up, then cook a couple minutes on each side. Makes excellent, crispy turkey bacon without the indoor smell... and zero messy clean-up.

I bought this to replace our regular processed turkey bacon. It just didn't taste right. i was disappointed. I'm trying to get away from the processed foods full of chemicals, but I'm having no luck with this one:(

After buying popular brands of turkey bacon for years, I found this one in Wegmans and gave it a try despite the higher price tag. It is worth every penny! Even my husband, who fights me on every healthy product I buy, said this was great and the first turkey bacon to taste like actual meat. I usually cook it in the oven on a metal rack ontop of a cookie sheet and it gets pretty crispy.
